Next time you finish washing a load of laundry and go to place the clean, wet clothes in the dryer, before adding that fabric softener sheet, think twice!
These innocent seeming sheets contain chemicals that are bad for you and the environment. And there is the waste issue. Both can be easily avoided by simply taking a damp cloth, adding white distilled vinegar to it and placing it with your clothing in the dryer. The smell will dissipate as your clothing dries.
And when/if you can, line dry! That’s an even more sustainable option.
